Flood Warning: River Cober at Trenear

High river levels are expected to cause flooding today. 

Flooding is expected from the morning of 15 December 2025 . 

Heavy rain falling in the area will continue throughout the day.

Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around 9:30am on Monday 15 December. The main areas of concern are properties and low lying areas in and around Trenear, including Sawyers Court, Poldark Mine and the B3297. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.

River levels are forecast to be at their highest between 1pm and 4pm. 

We are closely monitoring the situation . 

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
