Forecast rising river levels today may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible on 30 August 2026 into 31st August 2026.

Locations most affected will be the tributaries of the River Aire in North and West Leeds. Showers may be thundery and cause rapid localised river and surface water response in urban areas.

We are closely monitoring the situation .

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
