Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels remain high on the River Ray, particularly in the Islip area. Levels have risen in response to the recent rainfall, but are starting to stabilise. Therefore the risk of, flooding of roads, footpaths and low lying land remains, for the next few days. The weather forecast (29/01/20) is for a dry day, however there are showers forecast for tomorrow and further rain for Friday. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please refer to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated this evening, 29/01/20, or as the situation changes.
