Flood Warning 123WAF988

Ea Beck, River Skell

Warning added: 17:58, 22nd November 2019

no adsremove ads

Levels on the Lower River Don and Ea Beck are continuing to fall but minor roads, farmland and fields still have floodwater in them. Forstead Lane remains closed. No significant rainfall is forecast today, Friday 22nd November. However rainfall on Saturday will cause Ea Beck to start to rise again steadily later in the day and overnight into Sunday. With further unsettled weather early next week, and a period of high tides, river levels are likely to remain elevated going into next week. We are continuing our pumping operations in order to increase capacity in washland areas. Visit https://www.doncaster.gov.uk/news/flooding-faqs-and-advice-for-residents for latest information and local advice. Please avoid contact with floodwater, stay away from embankments holding back floodwater and plan journeys to avoid low-lying roads. To report any flood impacts call 0800 80 70 60. This message will be updated by 02:00, Saturday 23/11/2019 or as the situation changes.
