This alert remains in force. Having risen in response to heavy rain from storm Dennis, river levels are slowly falling throughout the catchment. The catchment is very responsive to rainfall and heavy showers yesterday have kept levels high. The forecast for Thursday is for a band of rain which may be occasionally heavy, this is likely to sustain high river levels. Property flooding is not expected but low lying roads and land are likely to be affected, caution should be exercised in flooded areas.
