Forecast rising river levels tomorrow afternoon may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible on 14 November 2025 . 

Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the river from Shrewsbury to Church Stretton. Other locations that may be affected include Minsterley, Pontesford and Harrington. (The floodplain has started to fill adjacent to the Hookagate gauge on the left bank.) 

We are closely monitoring the situation . 

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
