High tides tomorrow morning may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible from 6:30AM to 8:30AM on 06 December 2025.

High spring tides are forecast tomorrow morning 06 December 2025. Areas most at risk include the Severn Estuary at Oldbury-on-Severn, Northwick and Avonmouth including Aust and Old Passage.

The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Avonmouth of 7.63mAODN at 7:30AM on 06 December 2025 (mAODN is height above average sea level). Flooding is possible for up to an hour either side of this time due to higher-than-normal tides combined with Force 7 South Westerly winds.

After the morning high tide, the weather is more settled, and no flooding is expected in these areas

We are closely monitoring the situation and checking flood defences.

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water and avoid coastal roads, which may be flooded .

This message will be updated by 12:00PM on 06 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
