High tides are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected 2 hours either side of high tide on Wednesday pm tide and Thursday am tide.
Locations most affected are Cadgwith, Coverack, Swanpool, Portmellon, Pentewan, St.Mawes, East Portholland, Mevagissey, Polmear/Par, Polkerris. High tide at Falmouth on Wednesday 5th is 4:46pm and Thursday 6th at 5:06am. Forecast total high tide level is 2.85mAOD and 2.76mAOD respectively. Expect tide levels to be around 0.3 metres above tide table level. Force 4 South Easterly winds and offshore wave heights of 2.5m are forecast over Wednesday pm tide, easing to Force 3 Easterly and offshore wave heights of 1.8m on Thursday am tide. Coastal conditions should ease by Thursday pm tide
