High tides, strong winds and large waves are expected to cause flooding tomorrow morning.
Flooding is expected over the morning high tide on Saturday 6th December.
Spray and wave overtopping of quaysides, harbours and low lying areas is expected to flood properties. Areas at risk include Porthleven, Praa Sands, and Mullion Cove.
High tide at Newlyn on Saturday morning is at 05:04, times of high water will vary along the coast. The forecast total high tide level is 2.99mAOD. Expect tide levels along the coast to be around 0.4m above tide table level. Strong force 7 westerly winds and offshore wave heights of over 6.0m are forecast.
Coastal conditions should ease slightly for Saturday evening's high tide, however flood alerts may remain in force.
