Flooding is possible on 21 January 2026 and overnight into Thursday 22nd January. River levels have fallen below flood alert criteria, however further heavy showers are forecast this evening and overnight which could cause rivers to rise again. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 12:00 on 22 January or as the situation changes.
