Flood Warning 123WAF972

River Don

Warning added: 17:59, 22nd November 2019

This flood alert remains in force as significant areas of land next to the river remain underwater. Pumping activities will continue in and around Fishlake, whilst Trundle Lane, Far Bank Lane, Plumtree Hill Road, Fishlake Nab and Westfield Road remain closed. No significant rainfall is forecast today, Friday 22nd November, however, rainfall is forecast for Saturday which will cause the River Don and other watercourses to start to rise again later in the day and overnight into Sunday. We do not currently expect these to reach the levels seen two weeks ago. With further unsettled weather early next week, and a period of high tides, river levels are likely to remain elevated going into next week. Visit https://www.doncaster.gov.uk/news/flooding-faqs-and-advice-for-residents for information on Doncaster Council Community Recovery Hubs. To report any flood impacts call 0 800 80 70 60. This message will be updated by 02:00, Saturday 23/11/2019 or as the situation changes.
